James Bond 007: Nightfire is a first person shooter game featuring the popular British secret agent 007 - James Bond with his spy skills in order to solve a plethora of missions in various locations all over the world. The main story revolves around Rafael Drake, an industrialist that stole a missile guidance hardware and supposedly sold it to the highest bidder. The story in James Bond 007: Nightfire is very good and it has enough plot twists in order to always keep you on your toes. It provides you with lots of amazing moments, and it's complemented by a great gameplay as well. One thing that we need to mention is that this is the fourth appearance of Pierce Brosnan as Bond, and while he doesn't provide the voice acting, his likeness is portrayed in a great way, which makes the game very immersive.

James Bond 007: Nightfire also comes with a plethora of realistic weapons, such as the Raptor Magnum, Golden P2K and the Wolfram PP7. Shooting these feels realistic and the overall gun play is fun as well, which makes shooting still or even mounted weapons a delight! There are also three difficulty levels in the game, and these are 00 Agent, Agent and Operative.

The game is linear sometimes, as you have to go through corridors and predetermined areas which does spoil some of the fun. Even so, James Bond 007: Nightfire does a great job in providing you with an exciting set of missions and a ton of explosive moments that just make you feel like in a blockbuster movie. There are also numerous missions filled with stealth sequences that require your full attention!

James Bond 007: Nightfire features a nicely designed multiplayer mode that pits you against various other players in TDM combat, although you can play with bots as well if you want. Maps like Fort Knox, Atlantis and Drake Castle, Ravine and Skyrail just show how much passion the developers have placed into creating the title. There's even a small community that still plays the multiplayer iteration of the game.

In conclusion, James Bond 007: Nightfire is a stellar game that brings you a fun, action packed gameplay and combines it with a nice set of graphics as well as sounds in order to provide you with some one of a kind moments. James Bond 007: Nightfire is amazing for those persons that love the Bond universe and which want to feel the action firsthand. For the others, it will still be a great, yet a little linear shooter. We entice you to give it a try, as this is one game that will keep you playing for quite a long time!
